So after a ten-year hiatus from the piano, I have started back up again and am minoring in music. I am playing Beethoven's Waldstein this semester. I did a lot of work to build the strength in my hands back up. I almost have the first movement learned and am going to be working on the second soon. I was wondering if anyone here had ever played it and how do you play the octave runs in the prestissimo part? I know that Beethoven had invented a move where you slide your fingers on the keyboard, but it is impossible to do that on modern pianos. Thanks
