It's been awhile since I last posted anything here, though I do read a lot of this. For those who want to check my back-trail, I've been abused by my wife, but since the divorce four years ago contact has been limited to a few phone calls, mostly by her telling me what a bad person I am and so on.
The reason for this post is a trifle different though. I drive for a living, and I'm in the habit of stopping at truck-stops for fuel, "food", using the facilities and--- browsing the bookstand. The Pilot/Flying J truck-stops have a section devoted to spiritually uplifting books and I've had occasion to buy several of them. The latest one is "Verbal and Emotional Abuse, Victory over Verbal and Emotional Abuse" by June Hunt. It's a relatively small book, only 94 pages, and so far it looks like she's done her homework. I don't know if it will help, but I thought posting this here couldn't hurt. Maybe you've come across something that's been a help to you, and sharing on this thread may help others-- it's worth a try, eh?
