Is there anyone else doing this program? If you've never heard of it, the same guy who created insanity, created this. I'm moving into week 9 right now and so far have seen amazing results.

Hi Melbelle,

I haven't personally participated in Focus T25, but I have observed several sessions that my friend teaches for a fitness class (just so I don't sound too lazy - I was working out while I was watching!).

It seems to be a great, high-paced workout. The sessions I've seen are primarily cardio-based, but I'm sure you can get pretty sore from some of the "combat moves" and such.

I'm glad you're seeing good progress with it!

This just came out didn't it? How does it compare to Insanity? Are you doing the meal plan thing with it? BTW- good job! It's always good to see results from regular people who weren't chosen for the preview/focus groups.

It did just come out, it's not like insanity, it's totally it's own thing but can give the same results as insanity. I don't do the meal plan to a T but I do it the best I can with what I have. I do drink the Shakeology as well.

I am starting come Monday the 23rd of Sept. 2013 the Gamma Phase of Shaun T's Focus T25 workout.
As of today the 21st I weighed in at 169 lbs./76.65 kg.

Today Kicks off the 1st day of Focus T25 GAMMA PHASE
28 days of Alpha and Beta Phases mixed in and faster intensity.
I was NOT keeping up today, Was trying to learn the new routine.
This first day started with Gamma Speed 3.0
Doesn't seem like much until you do it!
Today is the 2nd day Of the Gamma Phase of Focus T 25
Ohhhh I so know I am going to be sore tomorrow!

All these new workout sessions are new to my body and I am sore to a new degree...
I found it hard to complete exercises because my body was burning to complete muscle failure.

I am hurting all over even experiencing cramps (ouch!) No Pain, No Gain!
The bulk of my soreness lies like a basketball size soreness in the bottom of my back, but all my body is feeling like it was used and abused.
Today's itinerary was Gamma Speed 3.0 same as first day I was trying my hardest to keep up and I was only a second off the beat, I still found myself not finishing some exercises due to complete muscle failure (the burn!)
Here is where many people give up any exercise...
God has taught me... this too shall pass and I will have victory!

Today I was highly motivated with my Son, he wanted to pair up with dad but I had finished working out....
I had another workout... woohoo lets do it again!?!?

Today's Itinerary was Gamma Rip-T Up and a Beta Speed 2.0 with my son
He is going to be sooo sore, I felt sorry for Him and I gave Him some Protein supplement to offset the pain (fatigue soreness)
UPDATE: I was waiting for my son to report, but He didn't so I called on Saturday and he told me..."Dad, I was rediculously sore and my body was broken, my whole body was a giant soreness." I told him imagine if I didn't fix you up a tall glass of protein? Soreness tells you you worked the muscles out it also tells what is going to get stronger
The rebuilding stage of muscle is the soreness you may encounter when starting or stepping up any new exercise.
All this in just 25 minutes! Everyone has 25 minutes!

I was dreading today considering what I remembered happened last week...
WOAH, Praise The Lord I had the strength needed to keep up and my focus and stamina was there too. Still a challenge.

Today was challenging... Burpee combo this, Burpee combo that... Hard Work (when you do it in proper form)
I have been constantly modifying my diet and I let go of my Pb &J sandwiches :-( I also stopped the so called good cereals they both are processed foods which hinders your metabolism in your body hindering fat burn...
I see the difference so quickly! I believe those colon sea salt non-processed no iodine), flushes have something to do with quick reaction to change of diet, no longer sluggish, no gas or upset stomach, no more bloating.
I feel great, thank God Praise the Lord! I Bless His holy name

I had lots of coaxing and encouraging to my self to start and excuses and reasons crept up, talk about self discipline and will power.

Todays itinerary is a rest day but not completely....
Today is STATurday Today we measure Chest, waist, arms and thighs oh and weight.
WOOHOO! Congradulations to me, Congradulations to me! I have finally hit my goal weight of two or three years ago... 165 lbs./74.84 kg. (dehydrated weight, morning weigh in)
I shall go as far as I need to go for 10% to 12% fat.
Today I was able to measure my fat percentage with my very own fat caliper! I am at 14.64% fat: I have 141 lbs./63.95 kg. of lean body mass and 24 lbs./10.88 kg. of fat
When I started this venture I was 37.7% body fat (Used an impedance scale that measures fat % water % and weight all in one after inputting age and height) anything over 25% is obese!
Enthusiasm has been restored!
Praise the Lord!
Today is the 14th day Of the Gamma Phase of Focus T25
I had lingering soreness from Friday but the stretch made it all better.
You must stretch deeper every time and most of all incorporate the lamaze breathing (the breathing birthing mother's do when in major pain), to work through pain involved with stretching to body limits (it helps us men too, it really works O:)

I added more weight today to my dumbells, I was shocked at my ability to lift them, easily! YEAH Halleluyah! Praise the Lord getting stronger!

I missed a real concentrated abdominal workout so I i did a 45 minute session of Insanity Insane Abs... Ouch...I was right it's been awhile...

Motivation getting higher after a sneak peek results (I was looking in the mirror)...
I remember when I first started and I wanted results! next week atleast hehehe After weeks of using my personal Healthometer weight scale (doctor's office type scale), I found out that the tape shows results sooner than what you see with your eyes. Boy oh boy something was happening! YEAH! Halleluyah! Praise the Lord!...long story short I can feel the results but feeling cant be shown (when showering and lathering torso i feel the abs), but I can see results that others cant deny or mock anymore.
I would be afraid to take and post a pic, in fear of being publicly humiliated before all (okay okay I did had to contort a certain way, honesty is the best policy) Now I look down at myself and I can see my toes but that's not all I see... I see the abdominal definition popping out my obliques defined, veins popping out. A picture says a thousand words... The unbuckled belt was happenstance. Don't make me swear! God knows my heart!

I was not liking it but I had to shave my manly mane happy trail, abdominal growth whatever ) and "VOILA" there it was...I went all over house looking for baby oil the closest I found was scented mineral oil (it brings out the contours of muscle and shadows and glistening of slick oil show off. The enduring journey from when I first began April 7th is when I physically started and Jan 1st is when the plan began I started researching and researching and stock piling supplements and knowledge until the day came. Said my prayers, told myself this will happen (spoke life to the situation), and in the name of Jesus I went.
Unofficially I was 165 lbs./74.84 kg. today after dinner and water logged weight.

I am still feeling sore and my new added weight is taking it's due toll on me.
Gamma Phase on Focus T25 is definitely a weight workout.

Today's Itinerary was Gamma The Pyramid on top of that it was Double day Friday!!! on top of that I did Insanity Insane Abs and on top of that I tried a new tricep dip down with legs elevated and....I was doing diamond tricep dips OUCH! Did 4 or 5 sets arms were spaghetti!
I give my God ALL the Glory, Honor, Praise, Thanksgiving and Blessings for He makes all this possible for me! Thank You Father!

Today was Staturday... but I was trying to win the affections of an acquaintance that knows this woman I want to get to know So I did not do any stats :-(

I have never been this lean and healthy ever! My eyes went O_O yesterday!
I had a heart to heart with God and really examining myself these past week and I got blessed with major progress!

I almost hurt myself yesterday trying to prove myself to the acquaintance (we picked up and muscled a air conditioning unit unto the roof top but my arms gave out)....
He figured out what I was doing He then exploited me and had me work doubly hard and errands everywhere to win over his affections to give a great and outstanding report to the mystery woman that has caught my affections of my heart.

This is the last week folks, and it is the hardest yet! BRING IT!

I feel that is not enough focused ab work in the Gamma Phase so I took matters in my own hands and supplemented the hardest ab workout from Insanity series.
Today is the 23rd day Of the Gamma Phase of Focus T25
Today was tiring because of yesterdays tough dumbbell workout...
I was sore and got just accentuated even more today...
Today's Itinerary was Gamma Rip-T Up and Inasanity's Insane Abs and Weighted (42 lbs./19.05 kg.) Diamond tricep dips with elevated feet ouch! by eight reps it's burning 9 reps arms almost give out... (know your own limits! Always lift a weight you can do 6 to 8 reps and build until you can do upto 12 reps. Than you can bump up to a weight that challenges you again to 6 to 8 reps and so on and so forth).
I truly believe by the end of third week of Gamma Phase the ripped physique appears (providing you sheded/worked off majority of fat thats anywhere in the 15% fat for men) I wont go there with woman.... :-X

Great job, folks! My husband and I decided to do this- and now are in week three of alpha. It's pretty intense and I'm definitely feeling my obliques today. We're not doing Shakeology though. That stuff is expensive.

I'm about half-way through the program. There are three phases to it- Alpha, Beta, and Gamma with each lasting five weeks. I'm currently in week eight of Beta. It's pretty good because it incorporates weights with the cardio during Beta and they show modifications for the exercises (which some are the same as the ones in Insanity I've discovered- but if you have knee problems the modifications come in handy- and I'm now getting out of using the modifications for a lot of the exercises).

I had gotten out of the habit of working out consistently and smartly of late and this has definitely been a very positive thing for me. I also enjoy the workouts and as they are only 25 minutes it has been easy for me to commit to five days a week (though Fridays you do two workouts for a total of 50 minutes). I've lost around five pounds so far and have lost 7 1/2 inches total. I'm pleased. Before starting this I was running and taking an occasional class- and while I was seeing improvements with my running- I have found T25 to be more fun.

This is the first Beach Body workout I've done- and it is pricey (but less pricey than my old gym membership I wasn't getting my money's worth out of). I don't use the Shakeology either- but so long as you're eating a healthy diet (which I admit I usually do anyway) at a moderate deficit you'll see results and won't need Shakeology.
