CO-REIGNING WITH CHRIST
As noted previously concerning children of God, one of the perks is being co-heirs with Christ. (Rom 8:17) For "If we endure, We shall also reign with Him." 2Tim 2:12 Thus it is promised concerning the redeemed, "You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth." Rev 5:10 And "... they shall reign forever and ever." Rev 22:5 Though much of the details concerning the future are spoken of vaguely, such as what we will be actually reigning over, nonetheless these promises impart to us a sense of our ultimate destiny and purpose - a purpose incorporating that of honor and authority.
