My vote goes to the Chillies; the Offspring are a pretty unoriginal pop-punk band (although a bit catchy at times), and while RHCP is average overall as well, Johnny Frusciante is a great guitar player and a few of their songs are very good (Otherside, Venice Queen, Minor Thing).

I don't care for either of those bands, but the RHCP do have more skill and thus get my vote.
