This is really tough - I love them both....but I think that Metallica is more talented. I'll tell you what - both bands will pump you up before a high school football game!!!

My vote goes to Rage. I respect Metallica as musicians but I never could get into their music. Rage Against the Machine is great though; they made some of the best rap music of the 90s.

I saw Rage at a festival, they were awesome. When Metallica played live, they played an encore for about an hour, and it was just too much; they love themselves too much
