This is a really tough one...

On one hand, my childhood crush (Steve Tyler... yeah I know I had issues as a child :D ) and a band who I have loved and listened to for years now

and on the other hand, U2, who just plain our rocks my socks

:sigh:

I need to think more

Both are great bands. But, I voted U2!

Why? Because they have changed their style to be honest with themselves as a band. (some of which i have not really liked!)

World wide U2 successes have been more greatly received. In Australia U2 have been extremely successful.

U2's stand on many issues have endowed them to Christians (not often Evangelicals) and non- Chritians alike.

The epitaph tour right?

Correct sir. I'm not too into the punk/emo thing, but I do like a couple of Matchbook Romance songs, and my friends are really into them. It was my first experience at Bogart's, and I wasn't aware that they checked your pockets and patted you down at the entrance. (I had pens, pencils, and highliters in my pocket due to a test the next day, and they confiscated all of it and threw it away. :sigh: ) The venue was a little bigger than I expected (and I don't know how it sold out), but there was a good view from pretty much anywhere. :)

Back to the discussion at hand though, how is the U2 and Aerosmith battle this close? I'll probably never say it again, but go U2!

Yes, Go U2!!!

I don't understand either why It's so close  U2 is heaps bigger than Aerosmith. Have people not heard "with or without you"? or the new album? what about Achtung baby or the joshua tree? Although Aerosmith have some good songs, U2 is more successful than them by far. Yes :)

If U2 looses this round, I'll be very angry
