Name: Barad-Naur (Dark Fire)
Race: Elf -- Half Dark, Half Fire
Hair: Black
Eyes: Dark Red
Clothing: Red tunic that would be similar in style to Legolas's, and jet-black cloak
Weapons: Black bow and a quiver of arrows, and a black sword
History: Barad-Naur is the cousin of Soulfire, or Shadow. He also posesses the power to be a changling, only unlike Soulfire, he used his power for evil. He was jealous of Soulfire while growing up, because Soulfire was the heir to the throne of the Fire Elves while Barad-Naur was nothing. When a beast attacked the city of the Fire Elves under the volcano, Barad-Naur seized his opportunity for power. He enslaved Soulfire's father to the power of evil, and in return, he was allowed to lord over the Fire Elves. If he could one day kill Soulfire, then the road would be clear to the throne. Barad-Naur's ambition was to eventually conquer and rule over all the Elves in Christia, and then begin taking over the other cultures in Christia.
Barad-Naur found out that Soulfire had returned to the City of the Fire Elves, and he was concerned. He tricked the Golden Hind, Idril, into leading him to Soulfire. Then he led the company into the palace under the pretense of helping Soulfire free his father from the power of evil, but he trapped them in the throne room and tried to kill them all. He turned into a great dragon, but Misti shot three prayer arrows into his heart, and he fell. As he lay dying, he asked Idril and Soulfire for forgiveness, and Idril gave him a new name: Hir-Galad (Lord-Light). Then, somehow, he survived his wounds and pledged his allegiance to Soulfire forever.
