  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi guys. I am getting baptised this sunday as I result of me accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour two months ago.

Its a big step, but I am willing to declare my love for Jesus publically.
What makes it sweeter is that one of my best friends is also getting baptised the same day and another one of my best friends (the girl who brought me to Jesus) is baptising me!!!

Its going to be a huge day and over 200 people are excepted to attend.

Can you pray that it is a good day and things run smoothly ?
and as none of my family (who are attending) are beleivers, please pray that this event will be used by God to bring them closer to the truth.

But most of all praise God for saving me!!!

Dear Lord, I lift up Bonhoffer in prayer. We thank You Jesus for opening this persons heart and bringing them to You. We praise the mighty works that You will be doing in Your child. Lord, I pray for a wonderful day in the Lord for this person. Shower Your beautiful anointing over this person and the baptism. Protect this person in every way. Cover this person with Your precious wisdom. Lord, I thank You for answered prayers in the name of Jesus "Amen".
