I pray that I ask this question in the right way meaning no disrespect to none but is there a tradition handed down from father to son of baptism of fire. One night as my wife and I were praying God delivered a message to us to look neither to the left or right but only to Him, as i knelt to pray suddenly there was fire all around me scared me to death my eyes were closed and I was describing the scenes I was seeing she said all was normal but there was a glow in the room, then a figure dressed in white came out of the fire and asked me to take his hand, I didn't, and the fire dissapeared. After that I was discussing this episode with some friends, a young man was visiting us and when he heard my experience he said it was impossible because it had to be handed down father to son through blood line. Just asking as my heritage is supposed to be Shephardic.

In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The supposed barrier both Yeshua and Paul worked hard to dispel. God opens His arms to all children of the human race. This is not a hand down from father to son..
Interesting experience, but I have to ask, did you get to talk to the "figure". What was his purpose for showing up, did you find out?

You know, I have had second thoughts about this hand down from father to son. Just like we talk about our experiences to our children, that they might experience the same, so could this be why God appeared this way to him.

The words "Baptism by fire" means "cleansed by judgement." Or in other words having been blessed with a "spirit of discernment."

unfortunately I didn't he said come with me I have things to show you, I was caught off guard and didn't go with him. I wasn't sure about the reception I would get here, but I'm glad I got positive feedback, that being said shortly after this I received a vision, I was standing in a square room and the winds were blowing in all directions and the winds were repeating the name Yeshua o meshiah (closest spelling i know), the next thing i know is Lucifer is approaching the door and storming in, he is a bright white angel, the angel that is showing me the vision says rebuke him in the name of Jesus, I did, he halts for a while and then proceeds farther toward me, then the angel says rebuke him in the name you hear in the wind, I did, Satan stops and tears came in his eyes and he said he has to leave, very upset and angry. The angel said that with this knowledge comes great responsibility. Since then when dealing with obstinate evilness I use the name and it works. Could it be that this is the new name that will arise in the last days?

Although most will disagree with me, Yahshua is his actual Hebrew birth name. And Yahwah is our Holy Father personal name. The name Jesus is less than 500 years old.

Ohhhh .. yeah... you were privy to the ongoing real battle between good and evil.. For God to do this, He has great plans for you. Do all, find all, learn all, and continue to seek, pursue, search, and do all that He asks.. and you will be blessed.
Yeah, you could have "come up hither" and seen what, where, why and how God sees things from His throne. You could have been taken to heaven and got to see the City of God, seen all that John had seen... it is all awesomely real, really wonderful, really incredible, beyond our wildest dreams... I imagine that is one turn down the Lord that you will beg to get another chance to say yes too..

Even so, Yeshua Messiah! 
After my vision of the name Yashua I was working in a feed and seed storage ben and the voice of the Lord says stop and praise me, immediately I saw a figure the new testament would call Jesus appear before me and then a brilliant cross, this happened seven times in a row and then a voice from above said now thou art sealed forever. To tell the truth the figure of Christ could have been described in our new advanced outlook, like a highly advanced android burnished skin white hair are fiery eyes. Never will I forget that face.

I felt led to come to the MJ forum for I am searching for a spirit kin. When I first dedicated my soul and id to God, I received a vision, an angel stood on my left side and told me too look, I did and there was a huge tree full of lightening, I watched and then saw my wife walk up and touch the tree, she fell down and after a few seconds she got up and went her way, I watched as my pastor, friends, and fellow church members did the same, then the angel tells me he wants me to touch the tree, no way I'm an electrician and I know how much current hurts, he asks me again to go and touch the tree, I agree and touch the tree, nothing happens, he tells me that my spirit is different than these I have witnessed this day. Then he tells me look again, there is this shadow of a person who walks up ant touches the tree and nothing happens to them, he says that we will meet in my lifetime and that when we do this will happen, he shows me a blue room and when the two of us our in the room and our eyes meet the walls of the room fall down and we are instantly standing in front of the throne room and Yawah is speaking to us. End of Vision. I feel that this person is in CF.

It is true, not everyone has the same spirit. Only G-d knows who belongs to him and who pretends to.
I had a vision once when I was praying in a Sukkah, where I was looking down on the earth and wherever I looked it was night time. I could make out the continents as they appeared to be darker than the water. There were pin dots of lights, that were spread out, like the stars above. Not many were near each other, but they covered the planet for the most part. These lights I was told, were representative of those who belong to Him.
I was feeling very alone at the time, thinking that I was the only one that believed as I do, but HE showed me that there are more, but we aren't close in proximity by space, but we are joined together by His spirit.
I don't think I have the full meaning of this vision as of yet, but when the time comes when I need to I think I will.
