What are the names of bands you're in, what do you play and what style of music is the band?

I'm in 2.

1. Embalmed - I play bass and the style is experimental rock, but I think the band is falling apart slowly.
2. Cüntblast - I'm vocalist/bassist and it's a slowly forming death metal/grindcore band. All I need to do is find a skilled double kick drummer.

I do everything for the recording except guitars. Will be hiring musicians soon for stage as I come closer to completing the album. There is no one style as I like to dabble in all sorts of sounds, but the foundation would have to be Industrial (Nine Inch Nails, CellDweller, Manson, Etc).

On stage I do vocals, some programming/synths, some guitars.

Toxic Bunny - Lead guitar all the way baby... a little back up singing but not too much. Its strange cause we're all into jazz but we're also into metal so we have a real variety of songs that we have written.

a Don Juan - A forming rock group that's somewhere between Pixies, Nirvana, and Mindless Self Indulgence. We do a few odd, cool things, but it's been progressing slowly due mostly to the fact that we haven't found a good drummer that matches us well yet. Bass and backing vocals.

I'm talking with a couple active bands right now though, so as soon as I find my way into one, I'll be putting that up here.

It's not hard to sing and play drums. It's hard to sing GOOD and play drums. Phil Collins is very good at it.

I play guitar and sing in Tears for the Dying ( http://tearsforthedying.com/music.php ). We're from Atlanta and our style is gothic rock/punk. Just so you aren't let down if you go and listen to our music, our songs are not of the praise & worship variety.. i guess our music is mostly secular but two of us are Christians.

I have played Bass in a few band's with my mates but i don't think any of them have had more then 2 jams together

I play drums, vibes, percussion, synths, electronics and voice in a power trio with some friends; our sound is a mix of heavy jazz-tinged psychedelic sludge jams, free improvisation and weird tribal ambient soundscapery. It's all just for fun, we gig occasionally under the name Acidophilus Rex.

I was in a christian all girl trip band called 'Iddo', about 3 years ago. we did 2 decent gigs, wrote alot of songs, and then had to go our seperate ways due to education. We did acoustic stuff and more rocky stuff, but loved all of it! - great days.

Then was briefly in some college band with a few of my mates, all had very bad temprements, swore alot etc. we did 2 gigs, then I left, hated it. We were originally called 'Jabba and the bounty hunters' - me being nicknamed Jabba clap: ), then it got changed to 'Helsinki'. We all liked different styles of music so didnt' have a genre (was the main thing that annoyed me), had to play covers of the only songs we could play - people in it weren't the most talented, and couldnt be bothered to spend the time to learn the songs! it all got started from randomly forming and coming second at a college battle of the bands! Covers were, the undertones, blur, the cure, weezer.

Now i just write my own stuff, me and the drummer from Iddo - one of my mates, write our own songs, then when we can get together and work out some harmonies and add in some little extras to help our music come alive! We have wanted to record some of our acoustic stuff and stuff from Iddo for ages, just can't find the money.

I am in -------FireShy--------we play Christian Rock, and I play the keyboard and bass guitar in it.
I am also in a few praise bands, we don't have names for them, but I play the piano, and the bass in them.

My band is called S.A.D. (survived another day) basically its just like hard rock/metal band theres only one guitar which is me..so there isnt too much soloing but thats ok right now im just trying to come up with some good material
