bad day

I have had a really bad day. I have been strugling all day with feeling depressed and feeling worthless and so hopeless. I have been really busy this week with my church and now i am just falling apart. Of course it is even worse because what day do i fall apart on but Good Friday. i just am so miserable. i just want to sit down and cry. Anyway thanks for listening.

I think for people who are already emotionally vulnerable, this week can be difficult. But you have to keep telling yourself you are not worthless, just because you feel something, it doesn't mean it's true! Jesus loves you so much and values you as a precious child, and we value you too!
I go to the Psalms when I start to feel like this- there's a good thread here with psalms in it. I like this one in particular- it reminds me that the Lord will come and rescue me and my enemy (my feelings) will not win!!

PSALM 13
1 How long, O LORD ? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and every day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
3 Look on me and answer, O LORD my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death;
4 my enemy will say, "I have overcome him,"
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
5 But I trust in your unfailing love;

Ah honey, it happens. We all get days like that. Like the rain, they come, and they go. Remeinds me of the words " This too shall pass."
I always think of the words "Be still ... and know ... that I AM God" when those days come along. Yep! Happens to all of we mere women! And, alot of men too!

well i made it through yesterday. i made it without cutting or hurting myself. thanks for your thoughts it really means a lot to me. I am doing a lot better today, but it is still a struggle. I just got to think about making it through today. i think a lot of why yesterday was hard is because Good Friday focuses a lot on death, but i just have to remember that we have to go through Good Friday to get to Easter.
