Back From My Doctors Appointment

Ever since my 3D ultrasound I can't say I have been more happier from getting checked...I'm 37w and 4d pregnant and my doctor examend me today and said I'm 2.5 cm dilated he said I'm closer to 3 but left it at 2.5 and said it's most likely I'll go into labor on my own even before my due date.

I'm just so excited right now! Even though I have been suffering throughout almost all the pregnancy I have been very blessed that I have a healthy & happy baby with a strong heart beat. Things have been going really smooth in that area so far.

Please pray for me, for a healthy & happy baby and that I will go into labor on my own and be able to have an easy and natural birth (since I'm small my doc said I might need a c-section but now thinks I will have this baby on my own).

because your small you should get a c section? ok thats weird. i was very small when i was pregnant and i was never once told i should get a c section. i was told i was going to be induced to help me get in to labour but not to go through a c section.

doctors are put women through alot of worry thats usually not needed.

youve already started a bit of labour so you should go you self. and hope it all runs smoothly and dont let doctors worry you.

2.5 cms a week & a half before your due date is good~ you're already getting some of your labor out of the way!

And you should NOT need a c-section because you're small... that's just a scare tactic. My chiro's wife is Tiny (barely 5 ft tall and Very petite). My chiro is over 6 ft tall and broad shouldered. They had bigger babies~ all over 8lbs, born vaginally, naturally, and the 2nd & 3rd were born at home with a midwife. She had Zero problems. Your pelvic bones move to accomodate the baby, so you don't have to worry.

i dono i op ment because she is small or the bump is small... either way you shouldnt need a c section. c section should always be a last resort. (i would love to slap your doctor... it just sound so stupid to me.

Yeah I ment I'm small, I'm 4"11.5 and petite that's why the doctor said the baby might be too big (head, shoulders) for me to give birth naturally but he now believes I will go into labor on my own and will give birth naturally.
Oh yeah my bump is also kind of small..people don't believe me when I say I'm 9 months and I was worried that maybe my baby isn't growing properly but they said my baby is just the right size according to my due date.
