Babies Are Smarter Than We Think

According to these studies infants have an early sense of right and wrong and when they are being ignored. What else could they possibly know that we don't know?

Babies are smarter than adults in some ways. They sure know instinctively how to manipulate adults. That carries on into later childhood. There were times when I found myself marvelling at how they got me to agree to something, usually while I was distracted doing something else.

And let's be honest here,.. even though babies are cute,.. puppies are definitely cuter.

I actually remember being born because I'm a twin and my twin was born first. It was like being in a tunnel and she disappeared down the tunnel! I knew I was next, though the thought wasn't in language, it was just knowing (best way I can explain). My next memory isn't until 3 years later, because of an earthquake. So yes, if by "smart" you mean aware, babies are more aware than we realize.
