Aunt kicked out by sons

My wife's Aunt Donna was kicked out her home by 1 or 2 of her sons today. She'll be staying with us for a couple of days along with her boyfriend - James. He is part of the reason for the rift, but I don't believe it is all. Apparently since her husband passed away a couple of years ago at least half of her kids have been more & more disrespectful. The one son has allegedly hit her on several occasions. I was witness to part of a heated argument earlier today where Raymond repeatedly cussed at his mother. The property they live in was purchased by their parents, but for some reason was deeded in their four kids names. The sheriff has told Donna that they can't do anything unless they see him hit her and that even if only 1 of the kids says they don't want her there she has to leave. This is also causing friction between the siblings.

From what you've said, i think they were perfectly within their rights to kick her out. Although i don't know the whole story, i'm sure that she must have done something to warrant this sort of action. Noone just kicks people out of a house for no reason.
