Depending on the role that your playing, maintain eye contact with those watching, or with co-stars.
Remember to Project your voice (I know this sounds simple but the number of people who forget...)
Really get into the Character, if you get to choose your own peice to read choose one that you can read and put real emotion into. If they give you one, decide how your going to play the role and stick to that role throughout.
