  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Ok, need some help here guys.:D

1. What does it mean to lust after someone?

2.Can a man look at a naked woman that he finds attractive (not talking about spouse) and not lust?

3. What is the difference between finding someone attractive and being attracted to someone?

4. What is the difference between lusting after someone and finding them attractive?

4. What is the difference between lusting after someone and finding them attractive?

1. To have an intense or obsessive desire, especially one that is sexual.

2. It depends on the male.

3. There is nothing wrong with knowing someone is good looking and you don't need to be attracted to them. It's like, you know that Johnny Depp is hot, but you have no desire to be with him. Or how you might think one of your friends who is female is good looking, but you have no desire to be with them either.

4. Lust is more of a sexual hunger in that sense. You can think someone looks pretty and not want to have sex with them or desire being with them. There are a lot of pretty and handsome people in the world, but only one place to go home to.

4. What is the difference between lusting after someone and finding them attractive?

1. By my understanding it means to indulge in activities that sexually arouse. (Thinking, looking, and fantasizing about a person or part of the body, etc.) Although if the people in question are married to each other, their sexual desire for one another does not fall under the category of "lust".

2. If he saw her by accident or perhaps if he's a doctor whose job requires his patients to expose themselves, then I believe it is possible for him to resist the temptation to lust.

3. Well you can find a piece of art attractive but not want to take it home with you, and I think that's pretty much how it is with finding people attractive. (I like the Johnny Depp example, lol.) But if you're attracted to someone, you want to be with them. It's harder to just say "oh how nice" and then turn away and forget about them.

4. Lust is all about sexual arousal and personal gain. In other words, it's very selfish. Attraction is more about admiration and curiosity. While there may be some desire for personal gain in attraction, it's usually not the main driving force. Also finding someone attractive can lead to you being attracted to them, and being attracted to them can lead to love, which in its purest form is never selfish.
