I am looking for Christian Rock bands to play an event I have coming up in february - march.
First off I should say that the event will be in Langley, (if you're from BC, Canada and still don't know where Langley is it's about an hour east of Vancouver). My full name I cannot tell you due to forum rules but I can tell you that I am the Westminster rep for the Presbyterian Young Peoples Society in British Columbia. Westminster rep means that I am the person in charge of organizing events for the youth and young adults in Presbyterian churches in the Lower Mainland. Other denominations and unbelievers are welcome to these events too of course! I am planning an event that is a concert (of sorts) that will be held at a rehearsal/recording studio in Langley. I am on the lookout for bands right now to play this gig. I plan on about 100 people coming to this event. If you are in a band or know a band that might be interested then please let me know that would be awesome. By the way, the money raised from this event is going to Presbyterian World Service and Development and in turn in going to combat the AIDs crisis in Africa so although I'd love to be able to pay bands copius amounts of money to play, my budget (or lack thereof) This is one of a few fundraisers for this Mission project. Please don't let the lack of fund dissuade you or yoru band from playing this event. News of this event and who's playing it get's advertised all over the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island so your bands name gets out there for sure. If you have any questions or comments please post them I'll be happy to answer them. Also know that this is still in the planning stages so a few details will not be known for sure but I can do my best to answer what you dish out. Thanks.
