Atheists, do we really care if they are offended by our religion?

Personally I couldn't measure my care about it in micrograms. So put up your Festivus poles, hire the ACLU, complain to Reason magazine, whatever.

Atheists need salvation, not our rolling over for their offense.

I am not as troubled by secular atheists as I am by "Christian" atheists, pseudo-believers who acknowledge Jesus with their lips but whose hearts are far from him. I expect unbelieving atheists to behave like unbelievers—it’s there nature. I don’t expect that from people who profess Jesus Christ. I agree with Brennan Manning: “The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is Christians who acknowledge Jesus with their lips, walk out the door, and deny Him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable.”

I am not troubled by Atheists either Jim, it is just we need not worry about offending them as some are.

Lip service believers (and I think we are all there at one time or another) are a huge problem, but the world defines us all as that when we say something they are uncomfortable with, such as "Homosexuality is a sin" then they call us judgmental, forsaking love, not acting like a Christian should.

Exactly. Not forgetting that the Bible says love rejoices with the truth, yet truth is the first thing to offend when real love is practiced in their midst. So the kind of love they complain we lack is not what God in His word calls true.
