At what age did your child stop taking naps,It takes over an hour for Cade to fall a sleep.

Both mine stopped around 2. My husband said that his daughter from his first marriage also stopped at 2 as well.

Mine were both pretty young too. I don't remember the exact ages, probably around 2 1/2 years old. They did still have a quiet time in their room though. Once in a while they fell asleep during that time, but mostly they just played quietly. They had an earlier bedtime too.

Somewhere between 2 and 3 is usually when the nap drops...
My eldest stopped right before 2 (aaahhh!! and he needed it so badly!) and my youngest is almost 2 and still taking 1-3 hour naps.

DD1 was 18 months, DD2 is 4.5 years and still naps, DD3 is 2.5 years and it is touch and go as to if she will nap

Emily stopped napping between 2-3. When she started pre-school she would nap every day at school, but that's because she had a new schedule and was having to get up super early. They have resting time in kindergarten, but she doesn't sleep, her teacher says she colors or looks at books.

If he doesn't take a nap,he seems to fall a sleep around 5 or 6 sometimes.I'm thinking he still need naps.

DS is still having naps at just over 4years. DD is also still napping at just over 2 years.
If he is flagging earlier if he doesn't have a nap then i would say he probably does need a nap still. Or if he won't nap, a period of quiet time in his room would help.
