Romans 8:7 The old sinful nature within us is against God. It never did obey God's laws and it never will.

Neither God or His Law will never change or go away. His Law will always be there to convict of sin. We cannot change the Law to fit within our sinfull nature. All we can do is die to the old man so that the condemning power of God's Law will be have no power over us. But just because the Law has been made powerless does not mean the Law is no longer the standard for loving God and loving nighbor.

Romans 13:8-10 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery,'' "You shall not murder,'' "You shall not steal,'' "You shall not bear false witness,'' "You shall not covet,'' and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'' Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Those who try to change the Law or do away with the Law need to reevaluate their relationship with God for to make peace with God is to make peace with His Law and to make peace with His Law is to make peace with God.

Jesus takes away the condemnation not so we can live outside the Law.

Romans 6:15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!

Certainly not, but rather, so that we can have peace with God and delight in the Law.

Romans 7:22 I delight in the law of God according to the inward man.

Don't be deceived, those who are righteous will practice righteousness.

1 John 3:10 The children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

And those who will be justified in the end are those who have obeyed the Law.

Romans 2:13 For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified.

We are living is a wicked and perverse generation and are in a battle for our lives in the last days.

Don't be deceived!

k4c,

The picture of our situation that our Lord has painted for us through the vision given unto Daniel is a guide and help to us.

Dan 7:7
7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. KJV

Dan 7:11-12
11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time. KJV

Dan 7:19
19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet; KJV

This picture leads us to the testimony of Jesus through his chosen vessel, the apostle Paul and the truth as it is in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the elect servant of the Lord and his family of priests, the residue of Israel.

Gal 5:16-18
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. KJV

It is the same picture of the truth, as it is in Jesus, in both testimonies.
