This is a game adapted for internet play from a game my mom and dad played in college. From what they tell me this is a cool game, but to adapt it it A. will rely heavily on the honor system and B. might take a few rounds to work out the bugs.
Here's how you play: Names are drawn to find out who your target is. Then you go hunting for your target. The goal of the game is to soak your target before you get soaked. If you get hit before you hit your target, you cannot hit your target. You've been assassinated.
Restrictions:
1. You cannot shoot into a building or car.
2. You can't get other people wet in the process.
Adaptation: Rounds will start on Monday and end Saturday night. If you wanna play the next round post sometime during the week telling me so(preferably after Wednesday). I'll make a list of who's playing then post a number for each name. Players will pick a name and I'll PM you with your target name. If someone hasn't chosen by Wednesday I'll pick for them and PM them their target name.
From the time you recieve your name to Saturday night you can go hunting for your target. The game doesn't actually stop Saturday, but this provides 24 hours of "clear time" for all time zones and time to settle any challenges or question that need to be answered
When you find them, rep them with a *Splash* or a *soak* or a *throws water balloon.* Be creative, but please nothing like *you've been shot.*
If/When you get hit post who found you.
Remember: if you get hit before you hit your target you've been assassinated.
Restrictions:
1.Please don't invade threads that you aren't supposed to be in.
EX: girls in the guys only forum
2. Posts inside the rec. room do not count.
To create the equivilant of indoors and in cars there will be a somewhat out of bounds area.
Requirements: Players must have at least 1 post outside the rec. room.
You have to be able to stay involved and be able to check your reputation often.
Example Game:
Monday morning - 3 people are playing. I post numbers 1, 2, and 3. player 1 picks number 3 and I send him his PM with his target name.
Thursday comes and he finds his target. He reps player 3. Player 3 checks his reps and sees that he's been hit. Player 3 posts "soaked by player 1."
Tuesday(between Monday and Thursday) player 2 gets on and picks number 1 and I send him his PM with his name.
Friday morning he finds his target and reps him. Friday afternoon player 1 checks his reps and sees that he's been hit, so he posts "player 2 found me"
Monday morning(same Monday as before) player 3 picks player 2, I send his PM, but he can't find his target.
Thursday comes and he gets hit. He didn't find his target until after he got hit so he can't hit his target.
Player 2 is never soaked.
End notes:
1. If you have a challenge, concern, or question for/about a hit made to you please post immediately.
2. If you can't rep your target send them a couple blessings telling them what thread you found them in.
3. I need at least 3 people before the game can begin.
