CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My computer with all the music on it doesn't work anymore, power cable was smoking, and then someone fixed it, and now that doesn't work. So I'm without iPod and iTunes at the moment... but I like U2, Def Leppard and anything that was on the radio in the city I used to live.

For as long as I can remember, hamburger was the only meat I ate, no eggs, seafood or anything either. So, I have cut out the hamburger to become totally vegetarian at different points in my life... It all really started because of the taste, I've tried steak and everything, I didn't like it.

I watch on TV but since I just downgraded our TV I don't have any sports channels. I went to Toronto in the summer and wanted to see a game vs. the Yankees but unfortunately the nasty people I was with wouldn't let me... so yeah I would like to go to Boston. I wanted to name my youngest Fenway but somehow he got stuck with Oliver.
