There are sooooooo many beautiful colors of green AND yellow -- you are in good color company there :0) Nice to meet a painter by the way!

Ok, next question - what is a treat that you like to splurge and give yourself frequently (e.g. chocolate or a massage, etc.)?

I think the simple things in life are treats. Like sitting outside and listening to the birds sing early in the morning, or going and getting some take out and bringing it home and relaxing. Buying a canvas or new brushes is a treat for me too, but my special treat that I love the best would have to be going and getting my grandchild who's not quite two an go collecting rocks, looking for bugs, and playing ball, now that's a treat that puts a smile on my face.

If you only had one day left to live, how would you spend it?

Hello MMXII, nice to meet you. If I had one day left to live, how would I spend it... Well to be honest, it's something I have thought about many times. With my health and having to go and do test, it's crossed my mind often. I would spend the day with my family, telling them what I would want them to know for the future, telling them how much I love them, saying goodbye. I would continue to pray for people in need. Spend time in prayer and just talk to Jesus. I would also go to the store and buy watermelon and strawberries, come home and eat all I could hold. I'd sit back and play games online or in my variety puzzle book, read my Bible, and wait on Jesus to come take me home. After all it's something I'm looking forward to. Thank you for the question.

Hello shamsweedo, it's nice to meet you. I usually paint on canvas with oil's or acrylic paint's. Oil's are my favorite because they don't dry out as quick as acrylic's do. I have painted over old pictures, and I've also painted flowers and vines on glass bottles. On canvas I usually paint mountain scenes, or flowers, tree's, lake's. I've painted on furniture as well. I hope to be able to paint portrait's one day. Thanks for the question.

Hello shamsweedo, I took up painting as a hobby a few years ago, I'm still learning how, really just a beginner. In my youth I always liked to draw, just pencil work mainly, some charcoal as I got older in being an adult. Then moved on to painting in my old age. It's really fun and relaxing, it helps me relieve stress. Thank you.

My child and I don't get to the movies much. I don't remember seeing any preview's about it. I don't watch much t.v. either.

I don't recall ever hearing how you came up with your name. So how did you?

I love the smell of lavender, it's so calming, it's also a pretty plant. I love sitting outside and just looking at the moon, at times my son and I get the telescope out and look through it. I was trying to come up with a user-name that reflected who I am, some how I put the two together and it just clicked. Then one day not long ago I used Google their Image option and was very appalled at what I saw, and a lot of people use the name and what their site's, blogs are made of is mostly not christian like. But I guess as long as I am being the best christian I can it will be alright. Hopeful no one will think I am any on those people. Still it's been worrying me, I may be over reacting though.
