We all go through trials and hardships in our life and sometimes we need someone to talk to. It may be that we need someone who will just listen to us talk or we may need them to help give us guidance. It's easy to post a thread in the open forum but more often than not the thread turns out to be more confussion than helpful.

That being said I wanted to let you know, or remind those who do know, that we do have a Ask a Chaplain forum. Only a Chaplain and the OP (Original Poster) can post in the thread. Meaning it's confidential.

There are a few stickies that you will need to read before posting there though so that you are aware of how that forum works/functions. Here are those stickies:

***THIS IS A MODERATED FORUM (Please Read)***
***Posting Rules - Please Read Before Posting***

If you want to know who our Chaplains are please see the Meet the CF Chaplains You can see by that thread that our Chaplains are well trained and ordained :) I hope that those in need of help, or advice, will consider this option that CF offers it's members.

That's very interesting. Is a single chaplain assigned to each question, or do multiple chaplains respond to a post? How is it handled when denominations differ in belief on a particular topic raised?

Those are great questions :) I believe that which ever chaplain is online responds to the thread. It is possible that more than one chaplain will respond in a thread as they do work together but I think they try and let the first chaplain who responds to handle the thread. You can start a thread and ask then how they work those situations out. They could explain how that all works better than I can. I just wanted everyone to know that they are there for help and guidance :)
