As a result of the imputation of Christ upon being born again, could it be that our old nature is transfigured upon the receiving of the new Nature? Would this then not shed light upon Heb.6:4 which speaks of being “once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift” and why the severity of “trampling it under foot” is so final?
