Scripture holds to your OP statement! Few here understand it: "as far as the east is from the west" Jesus removes our sin. He died ONCE for all... how much of your sin (my sin, our sin) was in the future of His death and resurrection? ALL of it... ALL of it was / is forgiven! When God looks at us He sees NO SIN because He sees the blood of Christ who covers them all! We are HEIRS of Christ! We are clothed in HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS!

Alas though, this is an introduction forum... we need to take our theological discussions to their respective forums, please.

You have come in here and claimed to be without sin... You have produced all CAP posts shouting at Christians.. When the scriptures of paul where revealed to you. You have wrongly stated that it was past tense when it was present tense..

Paul said..

1 Timothy 1: KJV
15 "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief."

Note the inspired Paul wrote the truth he said I am Chief... He did not say I was Chief or i was formerly Chief .. But " I am chief."

It is also written ::

1 John 1: KJV
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

So what does it mean when a preacher comes to us and says that he has no sin??? ...

i pray that God reveals to you the revalation of freedom.. I in no way claim to be without sin saint. the bible teaches that if i say i a without sin i am a liar. I am not a sinner! a sinner is one who practices sin, one who lives a life style of sin and I was delivered from that life.. I am no longer a slave to sin!!! Christ did come to save sinners "Absolutely" and once your saved you are a new creation no longer held prisoner to that title or label "Sinner" Jesus changes your name!!! you are a saint! a child of the most high!!! a heir with Christ!!!.. and saint Paul said "I am" but you have to know context in order to understand and only God can reveal that truth to you not me. I love everyone and I didn't mean anything by all caps "that was a mistake" i didn't even realize it was all caps until he said it, and by then it was too late. i apologize if the all caps offended you saint. i will be more mindful of that next time.. have a blessed night

OK MY BROTHER LET ME BRAKE THIS DOWN FOR YOU..

YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND CONTEXT.. don't worry that's why we fellowship, iron sharpens iron.. lets look at 1 timothy 1 ok.. that the scripture you used right? 1 timothy 1:15,16 so lets not look at one verse, lets look at the surrounding verses in it's entirety because that will explain what paul meant. verses 12-14 states "i thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, PUTTING ME INTO SERVICE, even though i was FORMERLY a BLASPHEMER and a PERSECUTOR and a VIOLENT AGGRESSOR. yet I WAS SHOWN MERCY because I acted ignorantly in unbelief; and THE GRACE OF OUR LORD WAS MORE THAN ABUNDANT, with the faith and love which are found in Christ Jesus....now my brother was Paul saying "I'M STILL A BLASPHEMER,PERSECUTOR, AND VIOLENT AGGRESSOR? NO!!!, that would be inconsistent with all his teachings. Paul WAS CLEARLY REVIEWING HIS FORMER LIFE!!! and contrasting that with his current ministry as an apostle, proving just how deep God's mercy and grace will go to save someone acting so heinously as himself.Paul is basically saying, if God can save me, His poster child for amazing grace, He can save anybody!!!!
Let me put it this way... PAUL WOULD BE TOTALLY CONTRADICTING HIMSELF IF WHAT YOUR SAYING IS TRUE.. WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE SAME MAN THAT WROTE HE WAS DEAD TO SIN (ROM 6:6) HE WAS CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST (GAL 2:20) AND HE WAS NEW CREATION (2 COR 5:17). He is not making a case for STILL being the worst sinner in the roman empire. Rather, he's contrasting his PRESENT LIFE as a saint, who God faithfully "PUT INTO SERVICE" (verse 12), with his FORMER LIFE (verses 13-16)..

sorry so long i really needed to explain this to you my brother.. i'm not saying i don't sin anymore, i'm saying that's not who i am anymore..... IDENTITY MY BROTHER!!!

Good morning, I really am happy I posted this because it revealed the truth and the lack of understanding in so many of my beloved. The problem is we think that because we sin it makes us "sinners" and thats not the truth. when your born again your identity is based on who you belong to. a sinner is someone who practices and lives in sin. a sinner is someone who lives a lifestyle of sin, someone who continues in sin...
1 john 3:9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, Because God's seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning because they have been born of God...

you see it says "no one who is born of God will "CONTINUE TO SIN" it doesn't say no one who is born of God will not sin!it says "CONTINUE" meaning practice , which is what a sinner does.which is what we all did before we accepted Jesus. do we sin? yes but that doesn't make us sinners. living in sin, and practicing sin and continuing in sin is what makes makes a person a sinner.. Our identity is in Christ! we are born of God so we have the holy spirit which empowers us to no longer be a slave to sin. meaning we no long live in sin... romans 6 paul says you are dead to sin how can you live in it any longer? Please just read the scriptures it's all there... i don't see how this isn't clear...

is that because you are practicing sin? is that because your living in sin? if so, then i completely understand. but you don't have to stay in that state! The power of the Holy Spirit is able to brake the chains that sin create! you can be loose from that label and title. Just trust in the LOrd and the power of the Holy Spirit.. I'll keep you in prayer
