Are here any art freaks?
I got recently very interested in it. I took a course on art history - the Renaissance period to be exact, and took a trip to Florence where I saw the cupola of La Santa Maria del Fiore (Brunelleschi), works of Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli, Filippo Lippi, Masaccio and so many others. I was especially taken by Leonardo's "Annunciazione", Filippo Lippi's "La Vergine col Bambino e due angeli" and Botticelli's "La nascita di Venere". All in all, it was a wonderful experience.
I also love Monet, Dalì and Rembrandt.
What about you? Which museums/art galleries have you visited? What has been your greatest art experience?

I am such a dreamer. I only wish I could study art...and art history....sigh....I appreciate what little I know and what little I have read on my own. I think it was Van Gogh that painted the same cathedral wall/window/door? 50 times in different light!! wow. I wanna......I wanna......that is why I have red shoes....if I tap my heels together 3 times and say...I wish I was studying art in Europe...I wish I was studying art in Europe...I wish I was........somebody always interrupts before I have said it 3 times.....
