  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Why are more people not watching this show? I started tuning in after some of the critical praise in season 2 and got hooked. I think the subtle yet twisted humor is brilliant and David Cross kills me. His ability to deliver straight lines is unmatched on any broadcast television show currently airing.

I just watched my taped episode of last night's airing, and I have to ask again - why aren't more people watching this show?

Is it because it's a serialized comedy?
Is it because some of the humor is too abstract?
Is it because Jeffrey Tambor not saying "Hey now" isn't to their liking?

I don't get it. A lot of people who watch TV gripe about the dearth of sitcoms on air these days, but they don't watch one of the funniest and most inventive comdies since Scrubs?

Fox pulled the plug on Andy Richter Controls the Universe way to early, but I do have to give them some credit for offering the opportunity for ratings CPR on Arrested Development. It's a shame that the citizenry of this country isn't stepping up for chest compressions and mouth to mouth.
