Yes, sort of. I'm a big REM fan, but this isn't one of their better works. It's very low-key. There are some joys in it though. "The Outsiders" and "High Speed Train" are my favorites.puppy said:
I really liked Reveal (apparently many did not,) which I thought was a beautiful album. This album is just stripped bare, though. In most cases it's Michael, an acoustic guitar, and a drum set.
Despite all of this, I kind of like it.
