The state rebuffed a recent demand from the Bureau of Reclamation to remove several dozen shipping containers stacked on federal land near the Morelos Dam and others stacked on tribal lands.

The agency said it was planning to close up two gaps near the dam and anticipates closing up two other gaps, so the shipping containers should be removed.

False. Didn't the administration claim the border was safe and secure? Joe's been in office roughly 19 months and allowed the quite active gap to be open. In August of this year Arizona finally filled the gap, two months later the federal government wants them to take out the containers NOW, opening the gap for more fentanyl and human trafficking. The CBP, a federal government agency, said they plan to put up a TEMPORARY fence, etc. but that they will not START until early 2023. If Joe got his way we would see a great rush to smuggle in fentanyl, terrorists, and victims of sex and human trafficking through the gap until the government actually started a temporary fence. You can't make this stuff up.

Perhaps you were out of the country. Democrats strongly opposed funding for the wall so it was a continued, when COVID came along Democrats pushed to have building of the border wall stopped. It was within months of completion, Joe Biden stopped the building and would not let the states purchase the materials from the federal government--he just let the wall material rust. But always remember that the wall is just a portion of border security, drones and other technological methods along with personnel in key places are the key and were a major part of Trump's success.

If you recall Trump said it could be a tax or in a trade agreement. But what we have from Joe is a deliberate attempt to make the border LESS secure, while his administration blatantly lies and claims it is safe and secure. This is an outrageous lie that they continue to peddle, but although Joe is afraid to visit the border people can see the video. I expect that Mr. Biden and Mr. Mayorkas will soon be impeached. How many deaths, how many women and children have been sex trafficked because of these men?

Curiously, you left out the fact the federal government was going through the bid process when the AZ governor decided to place these shipping containers near the border...containers that are not simply not effective.

Yes, a year and a half delay by the Biden administration, and pretending to be serious about plugging a gap, is a political stunt. By now no American should question the fact that the Biden administration is lying, the border is not safe and secure, and it is deliberate on their part. I don't know if beyond impeachment Mayorkas and Joe can be held criminally responsible for the deaths and the human trafficking as a result, but if there were truly justice in this country they would be.
