You scored as Anselm. Anselm is the outstanding theologian of the medieval period. He sees man's primary problem as having failed to render unto God what we owe him, so God becomes man in Christ and gives God what he is due. You should read 'Cur Deus Homo?'

Here are my results:

You scored as John Calvin.

Much of what is now called Calvinism had more to do with his followers than Calvin himself, and so you may or may not be committed to TULIP, though God's sovereignty is all important.

John Calvin 100%
Jonathan Edwards 100%
Martin Luther 100%
Anselm 67%
Karl Barth 67%
J?Moltmann 33%
Paul Tillich 0%
Charles Finney 0%
Friedrich Schleiermacher 0%
Augustine 0%

but I think there is a mistake in this quiz in one of the questions:

When Jesus said his blood was spilled for 'many', he meant 'all' - I answered this one just the opposite way round and got my 100% (of course I did this after I only got 67% on Calvin - so my answer is perfectly in line with John Calvin....)

I've never read barth or anselm and don't even know what they say! But there were several questions I didn't get at ALL--and several that were, I think, intentially vague, ones that you would only know the answer to if you know the person who expoused that view---but if you didn't know the theologan, the questions were just plain weird. I've taken better tests.....

Well I live under a rock! ;)

Gosh those websites have so much information and yet I can't take it all in. Does anyone have a point by point list of what his theologist is. So far I gathered that he's a realist - and I'm a realist so we have something in common ;) ha haaaaaaaaa

Your score is almost identical to mine. I got 0% Charles Finney, though. You must be subconsciously Arminian. ;) :D

I think this result of yours is a good sign that this test isn't that accurate. How in the world can anyone score 87% for both Martin Luther and Charles Finney? This is not a knock on you, but on the test itself...

LOL I don't know...unless I didn't answer properly! I did find it hard to understand some of the questions.

Nah, like I said it's not you. There was a question on there about 'all revelation starts with Christ.' That sounds like a really good thing but the person writing the test means it to exclude you from other groups and put you in with Karl Barth (who I'm sure is competent - but from what I read I don't agree with him on everything) The questions are pretty generic and unless you really sit back and think what the opposite may mean you could end up with something really weird. It's a fun activity, but I wouldn't get too caught up in any of it.;)

And as I said before: If you want to get 100% on Calvin you will have to answer the following question the wrong way around. The fellow who made this quiz just confused that answer - wrong programming or wrong understanding?

Question: When Jesus said his blood was spilled for 'many', he meant 'all'

So what would a Calvinist answer here? All of you who have 67% on Calvin will get 100% if you answer it "wrong"! ;)
