I discovered this website on another forum and filled out the questionnaire. It revealed that I am still [gasp!] doctrinally at least, in my old denomination?

yea, I've taken that before and it had me still in my old denomintion (AG) too. That only shows that not all their doctrines are wrong, just many of their practices

Funny It Rated Me As A AG And I Am No Where Near Being A AG lol I Think Its promoting it too! But It Did Give me Southern Bap. As Number 2 and that is what I Am!

I think that if you said you believe the gifts are for today you end up in AoG.
If you said you believe in the gifts but not the Trinity, then you end up UPC.
If you said no gifts and no Trinity, the Jehovah Witness...

I have to confess that I was surprised, yet not that surprised. It said AG and I go to an AG church. Although my personal belief would be with the more strict CoGCA The second was Southern Baptist oh well...There is good in most denoms, we are not all toes!

I got rated as an evangelical Lutheran ....
was raised as a Roman Catholic ,
presently attend a WOF church ...

based on key tenants of each group .... does not allow
for overlap ....

I expected to come up Lutheran or UCC or Episcopalian, but no dice. The church I do attend falls in the same grouping as what came up as 6th for me. No surprise, since I did not pick the church but my stricter hubby did.

was high for presbyterian also (???) and AoG was about...5th?

i ACTUALLY belong to the ACOP - apostolic churches of pentecost... but their statement of faith is very basic and allows for a LOT of cross-overs in doctrines between the different congregations. there are quite conservative ones, and quite wild ones in our "denom", any is "allowed", so long as its biblical. thus, our congregation is quite calvinistic....

anyone know off hand if reformed baptists have things like gifts/tongues/dance/art during worship/flags etc? or presb? or AoG, for that matter? the PAOC (canadian equiv of AoG) in town here is VERY conservative. theres like 1 lady who speaks in tongues now and then, and everyone just looks weirded out when she speaks.

i only lasted there about 6 months.
