  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No. Just saying the 2007 one and the 2013 one is quite a leap.

I do wonder if working out for men gives them more testosterone in the face. Or if it's just a natural part of growing up.

Oh, yes, I'm with you now. Yeah, 2008 onwards I locked myself in the gym. Made drastic changes, to the point that my high school friends don't really recognise me. (Some do though.)

I definitely noticed rapid beard growth between 09 and 10. But that could have been the age factor.

Yeah, I remember reading some study that said women can tell what kind of body a man has just by looking at the face.

Luckily for men, our testosterone peaks in the 30s I believe. Lots of scrawny men in their early 20s starts bulking up by the time they are in their 30s. Only thing one has to watch out for is not becoming fat, lol.

I know you're joking, but unfortunately your joke is based on the very sad fact that a man can't complement a woman of CF anymore without the word 'creep' popping up in the periphery of people's visions.

But that's the side effect of recent times - the real creeps have ruined it for the rest of us. They shouldn't be allowed to win to be honest.

Perhaps i should let one of my arrogant co-workers know, that YOU look a lot more like Adam Levine than he does (It was a claim he made three or four times - that people had asked him if he was that guy from Maroon Five - when i first began working at Dr. Pepper, and he actually sounded serious).

Miss Brianna, it is becoming clear to me that that "hot lady pirate" picture that Jack of Spades (or was it you?) posted so long ago to characterize yourself, actually hardly does you justice. If it were not a seeming matter of privacy, I would be tempted to go showing this picture off to everyone in my social circle beyond CF so that i could brag about how I am friends with such a pretty lady. ^-^ (Same goes for you, @Squeakers, honestly.)
