Examine yourself to see if you are in the faith. Don't you realize that Christ Jesus is in you, unless you fail the test? Have you been born again? There are many people in churches today who study the Scriptures and pray daily. They attend Bible studies, prayer groups, and teach Sunday School. They know all about Christianity. They know that Jesus is the Son of God who died for their sins and that he lives again. But they never actually surrendered their lives to him and invited him to be Lord and Savior in their hearts. Yes! it is possible to regularly attend worship services and go through the outward forms of Christianity without ever experiencing Christ in your life! The gift of salvation and eternal life is absolutely free. You can do nothing to earn it or deserve it but you must recieve it before it can be yours. In love, God reaches out and arranges circumstances to show us how much we need him. Then he draws us to himself. Let us open our hearts and let Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior come in. Then we will have eternal life and much, much, more!
