I've been hearing things about homosexuality and sexual predators and how scientists are now saying that it might be mental issues and too high of testosterone. I hears about a 3 yr old boy wanting to be a girl without any influence from the parents. He wanted "girl parts". How does a 3yr old think these thoughts? Is it sin in general? That we are "born" sinners? They are now making drugs to suppress sexual feelings in males. I'm thinking I'd like these. Your thoughts?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have never heard scientists say the homosexuality comes from too much testosterone. I don't think there is such a thing as too much testosterone unless you are taking it in other forms. Also, testosterone doesn't dictate your sexual preference, just your sex drive.

Sexuality is not a choice but we are to live celibate or as a male/female unit.

I'm not saying whether it's lies or not. All I know is I've ask God to take my thorn out many times. I'm not sure why this post was moved. Seems like it would be better discussed in the original forum. Oh well.

The testosterone was meant more for Sexual Predators. Why do some people have more sex drive than others? I've always had a strong sex drive. I was introduced to sex at an early age. Is this why I'm screwed up?

God usually leaves the thorn in for a reason. It is tough but remember the flesh is currently corrupt just do the best you can and stop beating yourself up.

You sound normal. Some people have a higher drive than others. Some need medication because drive is too low. Both are normal occurrences.

As adult men and women yes. But how does a 3 yr old child come up with thoughts like this without any inside or outside influences? Is he demon possessed? Family sins? Cursed? I don't get it. My thoughts as a child were way outside of the realm of normal child thoughts. At school age I thought a lot about death. Why are there so many people? What are they thinking? Do they have sex? Is this normal child thoughts?

Could be normal or could be hormone problems. I would take that one to a counselor or a doctor.That being said everyone has odd or weird thoughts.

Women turn against the natural way showing that being gay is not natural and it is a choice. It says it was there wicked desire. People have all kinds of desire, doesn't men they are born that way. But I guess you could say in a sense because they are born into sin all they know is sin, but God says it is not a natural act. So I take his word.

The question about the kids, My nephew thinks he is spider man, he truly wants to be spider man, does that mean we experiment on him to see if we can make him a real spider man? When i was a kid i wanted to be spider man too, kids come up with all kinds of crazy stuff. They are kids. The kid got the idea from some where, be assured of that, and i doubt it came from his own thoughts, because at 3 he doesn't know what it means to be a boy or a girl.

I am glad you asked. I was molested as a child, and this is true with children who are molested it sends their sex drive out of control. And you apply this verse to every homosexual in existence why exactly? Who do you think "they" are in this verse? A 5 year old boy has homosexual feelings and this applies how exactly?

I saw on your profile you have been a Christian for 1 year, and you join in 2006 so a few years now, or just the year? You might want to listen more than you object to people who have been in the faith longer. For one this is the baptist sections, and happen to know my views are with the church because i am formally being trained at a baptist college. Did Paul not tell us to submit to the elders of the church? Think there might be a reason for that?
Some use a knife and cut away the bad parts. I swing a sword and hack off the whole hand, I'm working on it.
