Pretty sure that if both are or were a sin, they're in no way related.

Homosexuality would be a lustful sin.

Abortion would be a value of life sin.

Abortion is connected with murder, homosexuality is related to covet. They're separate entities and to compare them is just silly.

So what is the link ? Is it similiar to the link beetween Fundamentalist and Islamo Facist ?

It's similar to you taking the 5th ammendment by not voting in the poll. Likewise for all the gay anarchists.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarchy

Anarchists are those who advocate the absence of the state, arguing that common sense would allow for people to come together in agreement to form a functional society allowing for the participants to freely develop their own sense of morality, ethics or principled behaviour.

This sounds like a plank out of the gay platform. They think marriage should be based on a loving homogenous relationship, monogamous relationship, whutever. What's the diff?

It's against the law except for the judges that legislate from the bench rather than letting the people decide.

At least you are honest. ;)
Do I get reps for my honesty ^_^

Ahh really...I do hope when things come down to it you see poverty and putting the message of Christ into ones heart as way more important than abortion or sexuality :sorry:.

Maybe when the world is perfect there wont be any abused children, any child left in the streets to work as child prostitutes, any rape, any killings, any of that horrible stuff...
Maybe one day...and then no need for abortions
(would rather see an abortion than a full term baby tossed in the toilet or garbage or a young child left to prostitute the street or beaten to death and so forth :sorry: ).
Maybe thats something we could all pray for(for all that to come to an end):)

Well let's see:
homogenous
adjective all of the same or similar kind or nature; "a close-knit homogeneous group" [syn: homogeneous] [ant: heterogeneous]
WordNet® 3.0, © 2006 by Princeton University.

mo·nog·a·my (mə-nŏg'ə-mē)
n.
  1. The practice or condition of having a single sexual partner during a period of time.
    1. The practice or condition of being married to only one person at a time.
    2. The practice of marrying only once in a lifetime.
  2. Zoology The condition of having only one mate during a breeding season or during the breeding life of a pair.
As far as I can tell...nothing. One is about groups and one is about individual relationships. Which one is closest to what you're trying to say?

I'm all ears. What is your helpful suggestion for rewording the same poll?

How about this?
1) is abortion wrong in every case?
2) is abortion permited in some instances? (plz explain)
3) is being gay wrong?
tulc(something like that) ;)

The poll is too "black and white".

I'm gay, and even *I* believe there are times when gay sex is a sin, e.g., rape, non-consensual sex, sex where one of the participating partners is not capable of giving informed consent (an adult and a child, for example), sexual harassment (sex as a condition for a job or a promotion), sex outside of a primary relationship, etc.

The conditions where I believe gay sex is a sin are exactly the same as the conditions where I believe straight sex is a sin.

I've stated many, many times while I've been on CF that I oppose the idea of birth control as a primary measure of birth control -- which is why I support Planned Parenthood because if people have access to cheap, effective birth control there will be less need for abortions.

On the other hand, I'm not going to tell a woman who has been raped, or a 13-year old who is pregnant by a male family member, or a woman whose life will be put in danger should she carry a baby to term, or a woman who learns her child has a gross fetal deformity which will result in the death of the child that she has to carry that baby to term.

If there's anything which has been lacking in the abortion debate, it's a bit of common sense and empathy. It's way too easy to vilify one's opponent as "a baby killer" or "pro-death" or "right to be born" or "right-wing kook" without taking into consideration the extenuating circumstances which can merit abortion; or taking into consideration the "clump of cells" developing in a woman's uterus will become viable human life after it leaves the womb. There IS a middle ground to this discussion which has not been considered, given the tendency of BOTH sides of the debate to become polarized in their opinions.

Told you, if you read bakunin it clears your head about it, my advice would be "god and the state" to start

I oppose the idea of birth control as a primary measure of birth control
? how's that possible?

Given options such as the pill, foam, condoms, diaphragms, etc., if people are willing to do just a little bit of planning before having sex, there should be very little need for abortion as a primary birth control method.

I believe abortion should be an option for special circumstances, such as the ones I mentioned in my previous post.

ok,i agree, but you said that you opposed birth control as a primary mesure of birth control, kind of a nonsense.

i thought you were about to start talking about abstinence as birth control, my bad.

about the poll i belive abortion is sin, still this doesn't make me anti-choice, since i don't feel like taking decisions for others about such a personal and delicate issue.
i belive gay-sex not to be a sin.
