Are Christian Leaders too well connected?

Studying this link from rense,
gives me the willies.

I have to wonder if they have everything right, but there seems to be too much buddy-buddy at the 'top' of the pyramid.

Whatever happened to simple preachers with modest lifestyles?

There are some out there. But they are over looked for the more flashy, well-dressed, big car driving pastors.
However, living in this greedy, stuff-driven society people are more drawn to those leaders that have or appear to have money and focus on it service after service. So, some pastors decide to dress the part and preach about money instead of living holy and loving your neighbor.
It turns into a recycling of falacy: money preaching gets money into the plate which requires more money preaching which gets more money into the plate...

Did anyone read the link? (I don't recommend it... might put some kind of weird cookie on your computer...) It's just a lot of unfounded commentary trying to establish a great bid conspiracy theory. I would like to see just ONE link that confirms any of its allegations.

There are a few people on that list that I have some concern about. However, like an earlier post I would like to see more and solid proof to this. We also have to be careful when we are talking about such well known people who are, claim or appear to be Christian or Christian leader, because this accusation could destroy a true minister of the Gospel.

This ia why I don't watch Christian TV (except when they have creation scientists on). Also, the music really isn't that good (a little boring at times), preaching is simplistic, and every few minutes asking for donations.
