During the last few weeks I have been rather active on the political threads. During this time I feel as though I have been a little to rash and inconsiderate of others and through much thought and prayer I feel like God has convicted me of the part that I have played. I have not been applying the teachings of Paul in Ephesians 4 nor have I been expressing the "gentleness and respect" described in 1 Peter 3:15. I also wanted to share with you that I fully understand that your political or theological positions are not a reflection of who you are as a person. Although discussions can become at times "passionate" try to approach them as if we were friends having these discussions over a few beers and not as a group of protesters at a Portland riot. I am not making this apology due to any complaints or warnings made to the MODs. The apology is entirely driven by the personal conviction I received by the Spirit. I will not apologize for the truth that I believe to have shared. Rather, I am apologizing for the lack of love, gentleness, and respect of how I delivered it and I will try very hard to be better about it in the future. Peace.
Edit: I also wanted to add that I am currently working on cleaning up my comments. If you would like to help me by messaging me regarding any posts where you feel I crossed the line. I will gladly change it no questions asked. Thank you.
