Anyone with RA, OA or fibro?

If the pain is so bad often enough you might want to set up a type of pain management program, which may include using something to help you sleep and stay asleep which helps a lot with the pain.

Right now since I can't take any of the meds, I live in my bath tub.

The rain usually leaves me in too much pain to do much but wait for it to pass, the change is weather is hard, as is going from air conditioning to not.

I cannot imagine being pregnant and not being on my meds....wow.

The meds you were on, did you have to stop them right away or were you able to take them through part of the pregnancy?

I took them during the TTC process but every time my period was late, I stopped them. I stopped them 3 times in all and the third time I was pregnant. I had actually gone off the more dangerous ones when we began trying to have a baby. So I've been off them for almost 20 months now. The only ones I took up until my confirmed pregnancy was the migrane meds.

I was told this was the healthiest I was ever going to be and if having a baby was important to me I had to try now. I may be able to have another babe before I'm 25 Lord willing. If not I am so completely blessed to have this one baby, he's so special to me. I'm so greatful.

I wn't kid you I have gone out to the ER 3 times because I just couldn't handle the endless pain, the migraines no sleep. If it wasn't for this baby, I'd have asked my DH to take me out back and shoot me like an old lame dog.

Honestly it's those comments which help during the lower moments.

Is the "freezing" of muscles also another symptom. I have the achy joints(not too bad*it's off & on), but I hate the weather changes & dampness. & here comes winter & ever since I was a kid if I got to cold it takes me a long time to warm up.

If the weather does change sometimes I get confused over the most simple questions. & I usually end up lying down & sleeping for about 2hrs +.

I've suspected fibro. or RA for a long time, but my symptoms just are not totally intolerable like some of you here.

I can't imagine what you go through. I had such a bad migrane in my 3rd month that I was dehydrated & was in hospital over nite...so I stayed on my med too. I can relate a little...those days when you feel bad & can't sleep at nite. All I can say is God bless you hon.
I also developed gestational diabetes & had to test my insulin levels about 2-3x's a day. & dh wants another I personally think he should have the next one...after all it's only fair & he is even younger then I am.

My muscles have been cramping really bad lately. I'm not sure what you mean by "freezing" of muscles, but I've described my symptoms as "the pain of stiffness." Not always joint, but often both joint and muscle related.

I started getting "foggy" today, and we have a weather change coming on. I ended up taking a very nice nap, which helped.

I guess you could call it stiffness as well as aches...like my grip isn't strong enough. It seems to happen mostly in my muscles.
Know what you mean Lchick I am getting over a sinus infection & we had a drop in temperatures this weekend. I took advantage of my hubby & slept in late while he watched the baby. I just feel so washed out this weekend
