I've got to be quite honest. I'm so incredibally stressed out about finances right now. I'm sure that others feel the same way..Going to a christian school is so expensive and I'm fearing the long and hard months it'll take to pay it off. I like to pay cash for everything, and these loans are driving me into insanity. I'm going to try and get a job next semester were I can work a couple of all night shifts. I'm training to get my fire fighter card, and am already an EMT, and then I'm double majoring in Fiance and Marketing. Is there anyone else out there that is completely stressed?? And also, are there any other students working as Part time EMT/Firefighters??

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

well i'm no EMT/firefighter... so nope.
but my sister works nights as a nurse aid in a hospital. those are great places for full time night jobs. with benefits! and pretty good pay at most places. probably depends on the city.
i am not too stressed about loans... the TONS THAT I HAVE.... because I figure one step at a time will get them paid off just fine. i am unemployed now and still full time in school so... i'm TRYING to get a job when i move home in May.
then when i can afford it: an apartment. but i bet that will come after loans are paid off..
money is a worry. this i know well. and i am glad you're honest about your stress. pretending to not have any can hurt you more than admitting it can
I also go to a Christian school that costs a pretty penny. someday if you want to create a Loan Paying Christian support group... lemme know!
