I do enjoy this game. I havent played it in over 1 year now since i forgot what server i used to play on and since the game only gives you 2-3 chances to log in. Then there is the matter of what my password and screen name was at that time...
But it is sure worth playing.Imo, its better then some of the mmo you pay for.
Every month or two, someone will post the same question, asking if anyone playes it

HERO Online is like Silkroad only MUCH better. I highly reccomend it for the budget MMO gamer

Yeah it does take a lot of time
I just reinstalled an old version i had of the game saved to disk. I figured it would save on the dl time with my slow internet.
But the game wont connect to the internet.. So now im not sure what to do. You just click on it to open it, the black screen with the gold bar around it coems up that says "option,guide,movie,exit". So ill work on it some more and see what i can find out. as i already have chars that are lvl 40+.

I had to download the new game, i couldnt update my old version of silk road. I did manage to login, since i rembered the server i played on.
I also started playing heroes online. It is also fun, and a little less repetitive then silkroad, though sSilk road has better graphics by far. But i an using a program called "nhancer" to force anistopic filtering, and antilacing. It seems to be helping.
The learning curve on heroes is steeper then on silkroad. But by lvl 10 (1 dan) you finaly figure out how to do the quests, also having a pet is fun as well.
But if you can only play one, i would go with silkroad. But ill be playing heroes for a while
