wow, cool i'll start adding names haha,
the one thing i couldnt find when i started was the guy that tan'd stuff,
the it took me forever to find out what one did with the stuff haha

but its the quickist way to get crafting up is to make suff out of lether,
hee even now i'm at a crafting 45 and manly because of a needle and thread haha

Sure do, haven't been playing long, but i'm picking up what to do fairly quickly.

I have a question.....But is runescape a game christians should play? Is it demonic in anyway? I am just asking.......Please let me know....I work at a library and they are playing it behind be at the computers....The language bothers me, and my spirit thinks it is wrong......They cuss and do a lot of fighting and killing.....

the game has some good fighting evil at times, most of the game though is
spent with you trying to lvl up with fishing and getting stronger

i've seen players try and cuss, but theres a word blocker that not only blocks out cuss words but most of the time it
seems to be on there to block out words like,
name
gas/fart
hotmail
ppl
ect. ect.
and forever you couldnt even say "lvl"
like "whats your fishing lvl?"
it would come out as "hows your fishing ***"
the site does a really good job blocking out bad words that is a plus, my sisters girl plays the site
and shes 8, most players seem to be 12 -14(man i feel old at times on
there) so most convos of players really getting upset are pre-teens or younger,

indeed you can kill lesser demons if you want,
lets see thinking....


in all my time on there i've only seen them in two places, on a island inside a vacano and off in wilds, i myself only go to the island to get sword fish and other fish(not a member so not much to do there)

and dont go pking so i dont come a cross the others,

my spirt hasnt picked anything off the game it self yet, some of the players yeah but thats the way with online stuff, god only knows what ppl online are into

its alot better then other games i've seen, but its a fantasy game,
lol all we can do is pray and test the spirt on things

i've talked to other christians that have played, and the feelings are mixed
more lean to that its ok^^

funny thing is i had some ppl saying that this site wasnt of god egad

smply told them that if they didnt feel it was of the spirt just pray for it and all on it, and stay off it if it bugs your spirt, like i have friends that cant go
into some shops, and theres some i have probs with going into,
i pick up on dif things then them, but thats a other story

I've only been playing for a short while, but I haven't felt anything untoward about the game. Spiritually I haven't had any pricks or concerns.

Yes the game does often involve a lot of killing, but if you really don't like that stuff, you can actually get by with a minimum of it. Get up to an ok lvl of 40 or so doesn't involve astronomical amounts of killing creatures. But it will leave you strong enough to enjoy most basic aspects of the game.

Fishing is always fun, catch whatever fishes, and cook them, or sell them to others or the shops.

Mining is good too, doesn't involve killing, unless you have some grumpy old rock golem come and try to wack you for taking his ore. But that happens very infrequently. Of course some places like Al Khalid and the Dwarf mines have scorpions, but I have no problem killing them. With the mining you can make lots of armor and weapons to sell for profit.

You could go the crafting route, mine just clay if you don't want to kill cows for their skins. Either way is good though. Who doesn't enjoy a good steak once in a while?

There are lots of opportunities for exploration, and stuff like that. If the magic side of the game pricks your conscience or makes you wary, then don't do it. You don't even have to touch that side of the game if you really don't want to. It's unlikely you'll ever be able to complete the game if you don't, but you can have fun nonetheless without it.

Heck you could even just spend all your time chopping down trees, unless you happen to think thats barbaric and want to try conserve all the natural forests of the runescape lands. Hey maybe you're against pollution in which case you wouldn't want to be making any fires of the logs you cut down either.

Just enjoy the game for what it is. If some parts bug you, then stay away from them.
