  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

After I graduated in December 06, I spent a semester at my parents' home before I moved for graduate school. I definitely missed the college environment, and it's certainly good to be back. Granted, I'm at a different school, but I like the college environment.

I graduated a few weeks ago, now living back home and em finding it hard to adjust. I miss the town and the college...even classes! Anyone else go through this...?

I graduated in May, traveled awhile, and am now at home with the folks. I miss college a little bit, but I think I miss living by myself most of all. The town I lived in was dull and none of my friends are there anymore either, so it's mostly the personal privacy that I want back.

Oh, yes. I've been out of college a year, working an okay job among good people but I'm cracking up. It's made me realise I'm probably best suited to an academic career, and so I'm going back next year :D Can't wait.

I wish I could be a professional student. :)

Me too, I think. I'm really wanting to go back but I'm not sure what I want to do. I just graduated in May, is that bad? I really wish I would have changed my major a year and a half ago when I was considering it. *sigh*

The week I was done with my undergraduate college I went into a week depression.

I was so use to working 24/7 on work that when I was done, I had nothing left to do.

I don't miss college because it wasn't the best years of my life. I was so busy with working and school I never had time to do anything so no I didn't miss it.

Two years out, I miss college a lot; the social environment, my friends, the cube-shaped fridge under the bed... Definitely not the classes.
Almost none of my friends are left in town, so if I went back, it would be somewhat foreign to me.

I felt the exact same way! And I am going back now! I'm doing a second bachelors part time. Figure it will take me roughly 2 years to finish up. Then I am hoping to have all my ducks in line for Veterinary school which will be another 4 years.

Student for life. :)
