I've only just come to faith in the last year, my big sister has been giving me excellent guidance but she lives in Essex with my 2 baby nieces and I've recently moved away to Derby so I'm doing my best to continue on my path without her holding my hand at each step

Um, no? We know these things happened, and it brings me utter joy to discover all the things that Jesus did for us. I started this thread in search of local, likeminded people and while, as I'm still early on in my journey, I don't feel I have learnt enough to back up what I know to be true with a solid argument just yet, that doesn't alter what's in my heart

the joy of the lord is are strenght.

its great you got a church and likeminded people. enjoy God and and your new brothers and sisters. get as much fellowship as you can,bible studys,ect

when i first new jesus,i had a great desire to read gods word, a real thirst.
God puts the desire in us, and lol i needed it.

greater is he that is in us,than he that is in the world.

Just got back from church, my sister was right when she found this one online and said I would love it made friends already, they've invited me to join the next Alpha Course, and the coffee's great!

I'm orniginally from Derby but moved to London a year ago, there is a very good church on curzon street called Derby City Church, the pastor is great and the worship is great.. most importantly the message is sound.
I was baptised at the church there last year

I do miss that church and Derby
