Anyone like Abba?

Hi, i was just wondering whether anyone else here is an Abba fan.

I think their songs are great. Especially SOS, The winner takes it all, and Lay all your love on me.

So, are there any other fans?

Seriously, I do like their music. In fact, I own their "Gold" greatest hits CD. Dancing Queen is by far their best song IMO.

I caught Breetai listening to ABBA a few times.

I heard him singing ABBA once in the shower. He made it all the way though Mamma Mia, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! and Does your Mother Know. Thank the good Lord that he was singing 'woman' instead of 'man' on Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!. I would've been worried if he did differently.

Anyway, my thoughts on ABBA.They're OK, not one of my favourite groups, but I don't mind their songs.

I'm hardly an Abba fan, but U2 did alright covers of Dancing Queen live (and had Bjorn and Benny onstage during one performance). Yes, trust me to relate things back to U2 ...

Those very observant amongst us will have already noted the fact my avatar says 'Abba' at one point.

Abba on a whole is not that spectacular but they have a number of hits that are quite enjoyable. Dancing Queen is their best song. It is a true masterpiece that captures the moment of the late 70's.

To me Abba are the greatest POP act ever, a string of great hits.

Last October i went and saw a tribute band 'Bjorn Again' They were excellent and it was a great nights entertainment. They even had some original video footage playing.

Guilty as charged... I LOVE ABBA. Ive always been a fan. Kinda my grandmothers fault. When I was younger we would always listen to ABBA in the car. We still do to this day. Whenever we spend a day together we pop in my ABBA CD. hehehe I used to sing to them at the top of my lungs whne I was little.
Havent listened to them in awhile.

You've got to give him credit though. Anytime, anyone can work U2 in any conversation is impressive.....(or has stalker tendencies .)
