I blew my right knee out two years ago and had to have total ACL replacement along with some other ligaments. Unfortunately, I couldn't do anything but lay around and eat. Prior to start rehab for my knee, I weighed 200 lbs. My jeans were too tight and I got a beer belly for the first time in my life. When my knee was healed, I started running, which gave way to Mtn. Biking because running hurt my knee too much. But I got hooked on Mtn. Biking and am still doing it today. That's a great cardio workout. In addition to riding my bike, I started lifting weights. So, I got the excercise part down and have stuck with it. Then, I started eating healthy. No more fast food, cokes, etc. I eat a lot of fresh, steamed vegetables. I watch what I eat. Although I'm not a vegetarian, I love to eat Boca Burgers. They have the taste of meat and they're healthy. I also eat sugar free bread. And I try to avoid sugar. I lost 25 lbs and I am down to 175 lbs., which is where I want to stay. Now, I just want to cut up and have started taking a weight loss supplement to get leaner. I just thought I'd share this with everyone. I think the secret to weight loss isn't the hundreds of dollars to invest in programs, etc. It's eating and drinking right and excercise. God Bless.
