Is anyone here an acrobatic pilot, extra 300, pitts special, etc I would be interested in talking with you. Not interested if you fly something paid for by someone else, im looking into getting into flying and purchase and financing is part of what I want to discuss and I want to talk to someone that has went through the process of purchasing an extremely expensive plane and how they did it, what did they have to cut back on to afford it, how much was your income, how much did you put down how much did you finance, etc. I am finding it incredibly difficult to find anyone who does this for a hobbie or lifestyle, but cant give up.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Trying to finance an F-18 would be pretty tough though and probably outside of my life span unless I got a fatty raise lol. My goal is an extra 300, the whole military route died for me a long time ago so im more interested in civilian acrobatic flying, the reason I posted here is becuase some of ex military are involved in such activities.
