Any of you have a copy of Jeremy Camp's indy album "Burden Me" that you'd be willing to part with?

AmandaT said:Yeah, it's a CD. "Burden Me" is one of Jeremy Camp's indy albums. He used to give them out or sell them for cheap back in like 2001, but now they are hard to come by. They pop up on eBay every once in a while, but the price goes up with every new one. You used to be able to get one for like $50, but now they go for anywhere between $100 and $200.
There's an unopened "BM" on eBay now that has a "Buy Now" price set for $199.99. I just can't afford that.
I've been trying to get the album for like a year and a half now, but haven't had any luck so far. Basically since I became a Christian at my first Jeremy Camp concert back in 2003. People seem to either sell them for a lot of money or they have 2 copies and want to keep both.
It'd be nice if someone would just want to give me the album, but I have a feeling I'm going to end having to fork over a ton of money if I want the CD.
I don't know, but I just kinda find it sad that people are starting to expect $200 for a CD that they originally only paid $10 for...

Dean Anderson said:I hope they don't recopy it. Then mine will go down in value! I could always burn a copy, which I was already planning on doing for myself...

I'm waiting until he's rich and famous, and either retires or dies in a plane crash (reference to my brother's fear of flying brought on by the fact that that's happened to many of his favorite artists back in the day). Then I might sell it.AmandaT said:I doubt that Jeremy will ever be able to just recopy it. I hope that you aren't planning on trying to sell the CD for a crazy amount someday because you probably won't even get close to the amount you are expecting. It was only one person that sold their copy for like $180 and the rest of the people who have tried set their reserve that high and have never had the reserve met. People are willing to pay $100, but not $200. And you can see that the one on eBay now is only up to $61 and they are asking $200 to buy now. The amount will go up on the 23rd, but it won't get to their buy now price. Nobody wants a CD for $200 that someone got for $10 (or less) or even free just a few years before. I find it kind of ridiculous to expect that much for a CD one purchased for $5.
