Anyone Going to Play Archeage?

I was in the most recent closed beta #2 which happened over last weekend and will be in the next one as well. While I did not play a whole lot, what I play I thoroughly enjoyed.

Trade runs, especially the longer ones which take you onto another continent, seems like it will be fun. With said trade runs, when crossing the ocean that sits in between the continents you will have to watch out for players that have chosen to be pirates as they will try to take your trade packs as well as sink your boat.

You can have farms, plant tree and other plants/flowers for trade packs or use them as inevitable for other items for trade packs. The is animal husbandry. As well as many other professions.

Your character is not locked into one skill set. You actually can use three at one time, which can combine for combos.

I don't think my description can really do this game any justice. It's really something that needs to be looked into. I will say that this is likely to become my main game.

Well, since nobody responded... YES! I played last three betas and alpha until it went down and I have gotten so much enjoyment out of this game. It's all together beautiful and they add just enough risk to everything to keep you on your toes. I didn't get to do near enough pvp but even running trade packs puts you in the heat of things.

I just saw this post and even though its late I thought I would reply. Yes, I play and it's nice to see another mature gamer. The majority are kids or much younger then myself anyway.

Do you still play? I know the game had some problems at launch but it's worked out for me. I don't play as much as I was since I like to play a variety of other games too but I still enjoy it. I haven't been able to find any land though. I only have a little scarecrow farm The other continent is opening soon.

Yep, I still play. I was able to acquire land through one of my guild mates. Just the other day on a different server I was able to find another plot of land for the small garden.

Lots of land is going up for grabs because many people have left or are leaving and so the tax payments run out on their land.

I tried it before, but I had to play on the lowest of low settings to get at most 20 FPS on my geforce 310m The game seemed to have rich content and qualities so I'll probably start playing again when I have a desktop pc
